Future Events Sanji's next opponents

Why do people think of all admiral, sanji is going to fight greenbull?
Am i missing something?

Ryokugyus introduction mentioned three things:
1. A connection to Vegapunk - Something that has become roped into Sanjis backstory
2. A lack of respect for food - Considers eating a chore
3. A love for beautiful women - Wants to be served by a woman. Only way to make eating worth it.

Not to mention Sanjis epithet “Black Leg” is a disease that is a known killer of Bulls and other cattle.

True, same goes for Zoro. He is going after the WSS, not his inferior rival Shanks.

Shanks dueling with Mihawk has nothing to do with vying for the WSS spot. We know this already. One became a Yonko, the other is the WSS. The goals were not the same and if Shanks is Luffy's last opponent, being a swordsman frankly does not matter (to Luffy).

I wonder about this line because the next line is Fuji telling Ryo to try the food here because it’d very tasty. I figured this was him just appreciating the food here in mariejoa not necessarily Ryokugyu cooked it

I had this doubt too, but makes no sense for Fujitora to thank him for the food


But it could be either:

-Fujitora thanked GB and praised the food cuz he was the one who cooked it

or

-Fujitora already knew GB was fasting to begin with, so he told him to try eating the food at Mariejoa because it was decent food, GB didn't cooked anything in this case.

My theory is that Greenbull's powers have something to do with him turning into a cook (maybe he perfoms photosynthesis?), thats why he fasts for so long, consequently these powers made him look for good food throughout his life, so that would light up his interest at eating again, forcing him to be an awesome cook looking for food good enough for him to eat.

It's like the opposite of what Sanji stands for, Sanji feeds the hungry, Sanji himself fasted for several days alongside Zeff, Sanji even missed eating rotten food after that event, he ate Cosette's food from the floor and praised it, on the other hand Greenbull chooses to fast by himself, even if there is pretty good right in front of him.

Greenbull is someone that would just be pleased by the cake Sanji baked to Big Mom, know what im saying?

Their fight could even end with Sanji making a dish for GB while he is on the ground basically defeated, Sanji feeds him and GB looks amazed by how good it is.

Tbh I think Kizaru and Akainu will be Luffy opponents. Fuji will be Zoro's. Kizaru might even be the main villain if a Vegapunk centric plotline comes along.

- Might be tied to Vegapunk due to Gigantification
- Thus also potentially tied to Kuma/SSG/Pacifists stuff
- Lastly tied to the Marine Science Division overall, which Sentoumaru is part of, who may involve Kizaru if this all gets blown up.

Long story short I think Elbaf is going to be pretty significant, and I can see Luffy taking on his first Admiral there before Akainu while others take on Kuma/Sentoumaru/SSG, but who knows tbh. They just don't scream "final war" to me (at least the Kuma stuff).

Nope, Shanks didn't go for the WSS title guys. He's a Yonko, different story, not relevant to Luffy's progress. You don't know the upper limit of Shanks, because neither Mihawk or him have lost to each other.

There is more here that I don't want to get into, I've written very long posts about why I think Shanks is the endgame here, physically and thematically.

I think similarly about Elbaf. I don’t think it’ll be directly connected to the emperors, rather I think it’ll be Vegapunks arc.

Honestly I’d love for characters who honestly don’t have much else to go in the story to show up here. I’m looking at:

1. Magellan
2. Enel
3. Sentomaru

Then sprinkle in SSG Information. The reason I’m looking at these three is:

1. Magellan stepped down from his position as Warden and Sengoku forced him to stay in the WG Ranks, as such him being Vegapunks current protector would work as it’s vital but shows Magellan’s shame in what happened at ID.
2. Honestly I think this is the best place for Enel to rejoin the world. He spent 2 years or so in space connected to a bunch of androids created by a genius of the old era. I think him working with Vegapunk to learn more about what he saw on the moon about his history and these androids would be a nice tie in. Plus Enels fruit kinda fits.
3. I just kinda like Sentomaru.

It wouldn’t make it meaningless, as Shanks stopped trying to get the throne of WSS after he lost his sword arm.
