Some people talk about Luffy like he is gonna reject Yamato or something like that xD, what manga are you reading ?.
By the way, Carrot probably has a deep connection with Luffy (in your minds) but all the role that she has in Wano is avenge Pedro, and she doesnt give a fuck about the mugiwaras plans. Why she dont help in anything related to Momo or tobbi roppo ? she leaves in the start of the climax of the main battle whitout saying anything, Yamato directly obbeys Luffy and she cares more about him that the vengueful Rabbit. So in the end if the headcanon of anti-Yamato fans happens, Luffy is gonna being the mayor idiot and insensitive main character of the Shonen Jump, cuz Yamato its fighting and give all for him, meanwhile Carrot its eating grass for his failling intent of anger

So, what? There are characters who have had history with straw hats like johnny, yosaku, VIvi, Caesar, and Coby but they are never official join the crew. Plus, the fact is Carrot lacks a story centric arc that makes her certain piece of the arc like other straw hats before her. In other words, she doesn’t feel like the main character of the arc such as.

We understand that she has experienced tragedy before, however, we do not know in debt history between her and Pedro. In wano so far, she has legitimately been pushed to the background and has become more of support character just going along for ride. Carrot is lacking screen time to flesh her backstory out to tell us more about her as character. With Cat viper dealing with the person responsible for pedro “supposed death” it undermines her motivation drive to join the straw hats in the first place. Most of time Luffy or one of the straw hats basically deals with enemy that has cause them trouble in the past or even the present.

Yamato-is devil fruit is shown be better version than Carrot suslong transformation in terms of lasting a lot longer than Carrot transform does.
The straw hat didn’t even mention her when they were recruiting jimbei to join the crew or she wasn't alongside with them when that moment happened.

what is this bond people keep talking about? luffy just talked with yamato for five minutes he has no bond with her he just knows who she is.
