I remember some people cough Noodle cough, hyped Kidd cause he took out the gifters and downplayed Zoro for being stalled and huffing despite Kidd also huffing and being stalled. This was before the translation came out when it was just pictures.

The translation came out and it turned out Kidd sneak attacked them. Killer even said it was a bad idea to go through the front guns blazzing showing that the captain and first mate pair were struggling to take out the gifters

Those same people got awfully quiet after the translation came out.

Ever since dressrosa zoro and Sanji haven't seen each other until wano and they were the last two people to meet out of the straw hats, so I think oda is planning to partner them against an opponent also king is like a combo of the two of them. (swordsman and flaming flying kick) additionally in the PTS when they both one shoted the passifista it could be foreshadowing that they will team up.

People have the balls to compare current Zoro to Law lmfao. If Law was there, this is what would happen

Law looks unbeatable when his opponents are weaker than him. Even Luffy (who I think is miles stronger Law) wouldn't outperform him against Gifters.

Its better for zoro to fight King than marco because it will zoro on the same level but zoro shouldn't be fight King solo, when luffy fought katakuri he wanted a fair fight to the point he stabbed himself just so that they can fight on equal grounds. King doesn't want that he will torture and kill zoro at the first chance he gets.

Emma is a power up much not a large one (improves armament haki but not to advanced) if luffy and law double teamed doffy and since what an asume at the time luffy and zoro are around the same level (luffy getting the edge) what makes u think he can defeat king in a one vs one battle. these theme where L Z S fights first second and third strongest might not even happen because of the scale of the war and it would be understandable since u r dealing with two yonko and potentially even more top tier characters.

We are nearing the end of the story. Zoro needs to defeat strong foes on his OWN. The only reason people say Zoro and Sanji should team up against King is because they want Sanji to fight King eventhough Zoro is the likely candidate.

Except it's forced because Zoro has ranged attacks, we don't know about King having any, and there's no way in hell Oda's gonna make Zoro team up on a swordsman...

Exactly. That's why I'm team Zoro vs King (fuck Zoro vs Orochi fight) and Sanji vs Queen fights. Sanji vs King would be cool too but I want Zoro and Sanji to have their own 1v1 fights ever since Enies Lobby arc lol

Exactly. They should become more powerful on their own, not in a tag team against a Commander.

Future pirate king himself in shambles with low level opponents and his right hand himself troubled with gifters while left hand is MIA for sometime. Hard to imagine these people beat Yonko and their subordinates. That is why Oda bringing allies after allies to samurai alliance.
