There are people waiting in backlog to do things the right/legal way and it's not fair to them.
I remember trying the process to have the Green Card, it didn't work out but even if I tried hard, the fact that people are simply arriving on the territory in order to survive didn't give me the impression that I was being cheated on.
Accepting those people is not a debate, its just the human thing to do. In the US or in Europe. Same thing.
I remember a study showing that you won't find more insecurity among migrants than in the regular population. In fact the more a person is integrated in society the most likely they will be to commit crimes.
And its logical. Why would a person who risked their life to enter the country, would risk everything for a pity crime ?
Scientists still don't really understand shit about the "universe and life."
And EVEN when they don't know everything, they are still the closest to the answers. Which was the point here.
