So, the Painted Worlds in Dark Souls are actually Universes. And there are beings in Dark Souls like the Painter girl who create them. And the painter girl can be killed easily but most characters with any semblance of combat ability. By that logic, are Dark Souls characters Universal+++?

I’ve been thinking far too much about Dark Souls scaling lately, and I have come to the conclusion that Dark Souls top tiers are surely Universal level.
But for the record, there are scalings that put Lord Gwyn at Star level, and the King is more powerful than Gwyn in combat.
