    I think the real issue is there are too many CoC users and it does not feel special. Zoro, Chinjao, and Yamato did not need it. I'm still debating about Kid having it.

    The point is Koby and Rayleigh were doing nothing with their lives until someone came alone and change their trajectory. It does not matter if Koby was content to be Alvieda's slave. He ain't now and is on his way to becoming a very powerful marine with high ambition.
