I know what you mean, but I don't think you got my point about the fact that you can use other destructive abilities to increase your ap and not only adv coc (for a pure sowrdsman, he would need it because he wouldn't rely on devil fruits or else...)... we have good examples in the series so...

But it's just to point out that some doesn't need it to increase AP because they got other thing to increase their destructive capabilities. King, Marco, Sanji and admirals can prove this. I mean look at Queen flying he already crossed like twice of onigashima and looks like is still flying and...

a joke yes, But on a serious note, oda showed with admirals and marco (and now sanji and king) you don't need adv CoC to increase your Ap, you obviously would need it for a pure swordsman (no devil fruit or other powers to help increase ap) but when you got some special abilities to use in order...

obviously in defense mode king is more durable. But in basis arguments can be made about Queen being more durable. If you want a showing look at how well Queen tanked marco's attacks compared to king who took a no name knee kick that made him bleed in defense mode (Queen was not even hybrid)...

I don't think so since Queen is a brachio (arguably the tankiest ancient zoan) and a modified cyborg with special metal durability on top of that

whe he uses his speed, he is vulnerable. If katakuri knows the hax ability like zoro now knows, then he will use futur sight to track on the fire on his back and would know 5 sec before when it will be on or off.... FS counters well king's ability ngl

That's the thing, luffy in gear 4 outmuscles katakuri but couldn't touch him when he uses futur sight... he needed speed and futur sight aswell. I f you are top tier in AP but not in speed and Observation haki, then you will always have trouble fighting katakuri

Oda clearly showing you can be top tier without conqueror haki, his speciality is fire that can burn hot, why would he need conqueror to increase his AP if his fire already does it... same goes for sanji, or marco, or devil fruit users (admirals)..
