but even if sword boys want to say "no his title is about over all power" you need to agree Whitebeard title is still far more legit

Wbs title was legit when he was prime. Not when he old sick cant use haki and has heart attacks.

This is another proof that Kaido and Oden's hype are mostly about their individual strength while Whitbeard's hype is mostly about his military strength.

it's easy : It will be a hype or not at the end of the arc :
If luffy manages to solo him, even when damaged, then it means luffy will become the strongest dude according to oda himself in "1v1", which is illogical in the current plot - it will only be the case at the very end of the serie.

him getting down in this arc doesn't specify the how. It's about the how that we are arguing i guess, since it will determines if his title is a hype or not : Depending on how he gets defeted.

Apparently Oda was dumb to use someone who isn't really WSC per fans.

no Yonko calls WB wsm, no Yonko calls Roger PK. Especially Shiki and WB never called Roger PK. No Yonko calls Kaido WSC too.

So I guess their titles aren't legit. Oda always uses weaker characters than Yonko to call X WSC or WSM.

Let's also assume that Cabaji (or any else random fodder) eats this fruit.

So Cabaji would be the strongest DF user?

Doflamingo, who has a weaker DF, will remain stronger than him even if Cabaji earns the power of Gura Gura.

i doubt his title, verily the part that says that he is the strongest dude 1v1 possible ever, unless if it means that he is the dirtiest dude in a 1v1 which i don't believe is Oda mindset about a character, and such title.
Because he nearly got beaten by Oden, which was at best slightly stronger than raileygh in his very prime - doubtable - in the best of all scenarios.
And the only way to tell if this 1v1 stuff is right, is to wait to the end of the arc and see how he will get beaten.

Oda was hyping up Kaido, an upcoming villian. Oda hyped up BM, used her as a hype tool in her own arc, and then reassured the reader that she was indeed very powerful and intelligent in a later interview. In a databook, Oda said WB's sickness didnt affect his power standing(aka he was still the strongest in the world) but I'm certain there are people who claim otherwise.

Kaido's title as the current strongest was purposely placed as a rumor. He introduced Kaido with a giant scar, emphasizing his failures. Kaido had his WSC title cause people were ASSUMING he has the best in a 1v1 aka spreading rumors, saying you should BET on him winning. WB=he is. Kaido=so they say.

i don't believe he ever was the strongest man alive, nor that roger was in his prime, if that what it implies. Yes in MF he was the strongest, but this doesn't mean he was the strongest man alive.
