if luffy gets up from this and powers up again
little repercussions
and kaido's negligence to end things
seriously have to question what manga am reading

saw the donut time garbage in the katakuri fight when he could end luffy
love luffy but if the best villains are being made to be entirely incompetent to give him a chance at winning
it completely ruins the fights.

The thing is aside Yamato, Zoro and Luffy, nobody left can do shit to Kaido before he completely one shots them. So it can only be one of those 3, Yamato is very unlikely since she was just introduced this arc and isn't a straw hat.
So it's either Zoro or Luffy again.

Oda has his sights on the future fights for Luffy like the admirals that's why he is taking so many losses against Kaido despite all his PU.
He overhyped Kaido to the moon as well he felt he couldn't make this too easy, i wonder if Oda could redo Kaido introduction would he make same choices

law certainly can with his internal attacks
but oda cut that off with when he said last chap he was out of stamina so as far as am concerned he is as close to fighting as zoro and luffy are.

yamato is still fine
and marco can offer general health support perhaps
they don't all need to deal serious damage , the benefits of team battles is that there are more bodies around to throw him off and allow the heavy hitters get theirs in.
