Then you have to look at this like that are samurai the term and culture only in wano ?? Yes there tons of swordsman out there but only wano is called samurai

they talked about haki but Zoro didnt learn 100 percent wanos swordsman technique he learned the basics from them the rest was his own creation otherwise everyone can buy a book about bushido and can call himself a samurai
Oden learned Ryou and MADE UP Oden 2 sword style

Kin'emon learned Ryou and Oden's made up 2 sword style AND MADE UP fox fire style

Zoro learned Ryou and MADE UP 3 sword style.

So again, be specific. You keep dancing around this.

Just say it's a nationality thing.

You keep trying to make a distinction between the fighting code as if there is a clear visible one.

For example, Bushido is characterised by intense Loyalty.

Isn't that like Zoro's big character trait. Intense loyalty?

Bushido is characterised by intense honor both in and out of combat. Zoro is introduced performing an Oden act of honoring a ridiculous deal to help a little girl and when Zoro is in combat with Mihawk he doesn't accept turning his back as an act of swordsman pride.

Bushido is characterised by self sacrifice for one's superior. Zoro and Kuma.

Oda has Vivi literally call Zoro "Mr. Bushido"

Im telling you, there is no difference between Zoro's general character and Samurai. You would have to nitpick small thing to find any differences.

So let me say it again, Just say it's nationality. That is literally the only argument you can make.

So in a long run it doesn't matter whether Zoro or anyone is a samurai or not.
It does matter. This is a story. Dramatic Irony exists.

In Lord of the Rings:
The Witch-king :" No man can kill me"

The witch King: Gets killed by a woman

That sort of thing.

When statements of absolutism are made, ESPECIALLY by the villains, they matter.

Kaido as the villain must be wrong.

Kaido says Pirates betray you when you are losing. Wrong. Luffy won't betray anyone.

Kaido says Too many conquerers on a crew can't work. Wrong. Roger laughs.

Kaido says there cannot be a samurai to ever rival Oden. Wrong. He's the bad guy, he doesn't get to decide absolute statements like these

Being from Wano or another country does not matter

The thing Kaido was talking about is the there will be no any samurai like Oden

Samurai does not mean only from Wano thate whats i am saying to you

Those who follow the way of Sword are Samurai . Zoro was taught swordsman ship from a person from Wano . Thats what matters
Sheepshead and Ginrummy gave us insight on what it means to be a samurai for the beast pirates in Zou though.
A samurai is only the name given to the warriors of the Wano country.
Whether you follow the way of the sword or not,you are still deemed a samurai as was illustrated when Sheepshead subordinates were calling Raizou a ninja.
Sheepshead(or was it Ginrummy? ) corrected them saying any warrior of the Wano country is called a samurai .

Way of the sword,Japanese type katana or code of honor isn't relevant to what the beast pirates believe to call someone a samurai.

So in that sense,Kaido was talking about the Wano country only.

You know someone can be proud and he doesnt have to be a samurai
also more style combat doesnt exclusively belong to wano or bushido code

for example Zoro was a bounty thats not really an honourable thing a samurai would do or Oden was a pirate thats also not being a prideful samurai should do the problem here is culture

Samurai culture is exclusively belongs to Wano if that would be the context what you would write then everyone can be a samurai country like wano but there is only one that is recognized like that

I admit Zoro bears resemble to pride and honour but that doesnt make him culture wise a samurai

So as usual you Zoro fans have no proof? Kaido has no idea that Zoro has ties to Wano nor do the others who called Zoro a samurai. The only dumb thing is people like you who continue to push delusions that someone who struggled with a Pleasure and couldn't get past a gifter stands any chance against Kaido.
we as readers have been alluded to zoro being from wano. wouldn't zoro being called a samurai from his natives further cement that. He’s in his element. Lemme dumb it down again.

Zoro is from japan. And what’s the japan equivalent in op? wano.

see if you’re going to bait at least try better instead of the same repetitive jokes. yes we do zoro has a bigger and better chance against kaido than anyone else there. Heck the scabbards do but somehow zoro doesn’t. Do you even hear yourself? zoro cutting kaido would even hype up shanks but you’re zoro bias has you looking the other way. Hate to see it do better

Kozaburo didnt stop being a samurai when he left wano.
Neither did oden or izo.
Kozaubro raised koshiro with wano codes and culture who then raised zoro in that way. Zoro is an ushimaru flashback away from having blood ties to wano too.
Kawa neko and inu are not wano natives yet they are still samurai.
Destroying his headcanon. Love to see it.
