While i think Sanji asking for help was a very good showing of the character growth he got after Whole Cake, the two moments can't be compared.
Zoro overcame something that could have been an inconvinience to his crew, his pride, in order to get stronger and help them. In the context of who Zoro is, it was a completely selfless act that he knew could permanently humilliate him in the eyes of his greatest rival.
Sanji's moment here is about accepting his own limitations and trusting his crew. He's channeling both the lesson he gave Usopp back in Enies Lobby (do what you can), as well as showing trust in his crewmates' ability to help him, which is a direct contrast to his more selfless and personal sacrifice back in Whole Cake.
The catch here is that it's ultimately caused by his own choice of not ever hurting women, so despite the positive qualities of this moment, Sanji is resigning himself to be an inconvinience while Zoro overcame his pride to not be one.
