Am I the only one who hoped for someone to have a technique called "Indra"?

You know Indra and Ashura. Naruto vibes.

:catcry::catcry::catcry::catcry::catcry::catcry:
It may be related to the path of a god which Zoro has not yet shown to have mastered but if this is the arc in which he masters the path of hell, the path of a god is the only one left so it can't be too long until it's addressed and Indra may be a form/move from it.

Is there a reference for the several path? Like six-path sage from naruto? Or is it buddhism-shinto?

It is shown through the spirit manifestations that appear with some of Zoro's attacks.
Path of human, animal, hungry ghost and Asura have manifested so far.
Path of hell and path of Deva are yet to be seen.
Wano is hell themed so we may see a new manifestation of spirit, perhaps it is what Enma training was for - to master the path of hell.

I think JoyBoy may have been spying on us here or came up with those on his own. Weeks ago, someone here, has collected spirit manifestations that appeared on Zoro, maybe it was Cinera or Light.
If Oda is touching upon the six paths with Zoro, I dont think Asura was a mistake. It may remain one of his strongest abilities, only rivaled by whatever comes from mastering the path of a god and perhaps ISDS which belongs to human path, I guess.

Losing your Black Blade is enough to pull out a strong attack and get it back.
He literally got one shot by Killer
He got nailed and neither fought each other seriously. Hawkins is still a high to extreme diff fight for 3 sword Zoro in a drawn out battle. And Hawkins has hax

I have class in 6 hours need to get some sleep I’ll reply when I wake up. Feel free to discuss though.
▪Law got nailed by base hawkins while Zoro fought hawkins's puppet which surpassed its limit with cards:gokulaugh: he fought dollless hawkins who got betrayed and needed dolls to tank attacks and to use his cards no doll no cards no superpower :suresure:

Trash law had two confrontation he got nailed and stopped by base hawkins while Nitoryo Zoro took two dolls and other one with the risk by hawkins himself :myman: in a single confrontation while being in defensive mode .
Nitoryo Zoro > Law.
▪In the manga it is implied Nitoryo Zoro defeated Hawkins with his cards while DollLess hawkins without cards advantage got betrayed :gokulaugh::gokulaugh::gokulaugh:

first time i saw a theory about Zoro and shintoism, 6/9 paths, Nirvana/samsara was maybe 8+yrs ago. i dunno on which website it was or who wrote it. it was basically a college thesis paper on how Zoro is on a spiritual journey in a sense :steef:
dude explained it quite perfectly tho imo the whole journey wont happen anymore as Oda doesnt have enough time to do all of that.
maybe it was an idea Oda initially wanted to do with Zoro but later scrapped(?) due to how long every arc became after timeskip and his unyielding love for Rubber Jesus:catcry::catcry:

I think the spiritual journey is still in progress. Zoro has shown mastery over at least 4 paths so far.
Wano being hell themed could be the place where Zoro masters the path of hell and his eye being closed could be related to the mastery over the path of god(Deva). Keep your spirits high, Zoro's time is coming. :catblush:

Deva is overrated imo:kayneshrug:Indra for the win:kata:

Here's Indra

And here's Deva

Now, even though Deva is considered more powerful than Indra I like Indra better because of the design:cheers:
In Japan, Indra is one of the twelve Devas, as guardian deities, who are found in or around Buddhist temples (Jūni-ten, 十二天).[94] In Japan, Indra has been called "Taishaku-ten".[95] He joins these other eleven Devas of Buddhism, found in Japan and other parts of southeast Asia: Agni (Ka-ten), Yama (Enma-ten), Nirrti (Rasetsu-ten), Vayu (Fu-ten), Ishana (Ishana-ten), Kubera (Tamon-ten), Varuna (Sui-ten), Brahma (Bon-ten), Prithvi (Chi-ten), Surya (Nit-ten), and Chandra (Gat-ten).[95][96][97]

:zorothink:

Also Rasetsu, where Yasu was killed.
