The Shogun in One Piece is treated more like a king than an actual general. No one is going to go to the 8 year old Momo and ask for military commands.

If all the kings in the WG could leave their countries for weeks on end to attend the Reverie. Momo can leave Wano in order to do something of even greater importance.

Just saying "Wano's borders are now open!" does absolutely jack all. Wano is an island that's been isolated, concealed and forgotten by the world for centuries. It will take an active effort to reconnect Wano to the rest of the world. Someone needs to physically go and reintroduce Wano to these other nations.

Momo is shogun of Wano. He’s staying in the flower capital to give them hope like they wanted. It’s that simple. Literally it’s been set up since the start of Wano. You should stop denying the manga

I said Yamao could remain in Wano over 6 months ago up until the story gave new information. Since then my belief has remained completely consistent in Yamao's fate. I haven't changed it even once.

Momo is going to be shogun and lead Wano in a new direction by opening the borders, reconnecting them with the world after centuries. This is far more important than any admin he would've been doing in Wano.

It's the same exact argument. It's all about Yamato. Momo not staying on Wano is an argument you are making to "quell" the idea of her going on an adventure without the crew.

You're not explaining why Yamato still said he wants to sail with Luffy, even asking Luffy directly, despite knowing about Momo and trying to have Wano returned to the Kozukis.....

Could be for multiple reasons.

1. She's unaware of just how bad Wano is. She hasn't been on mainland Wano in 20 years.
2. Momo realises what he must do to open the borders and asks Yamao to assist him
3. She recognises that she doesn't have to literally be Oden and can have own personality
4. An unexpected 3rd party shows up. Both BB and the Marines have dropped hints of going to Wano. It will teach Yamao there are more threats to Wano than just Kaido

These are all just possible ideas, but Oda can come up with anything really since Yamao's not giving up her desire to adventure. She'll still get to do that with Momo.
