The fated day is here. @Rambles is accused of many crimes including grand delusions and not fulfilling bet promises as a result of these alleged delusions.
Is Egghead truly over? Will Lucci join the crew?
Guess we'll find out.
Greetings, everyone.
The court is now in session for the trial of Mr. @Rambles.
The defendant stands accused of excessive use of copium to support the argument that reality is merely a hallucination and that cats are man's best friends—even if said cat and man are islands apart.
Most concerning, however, is his history of making numerous bets with no intention of honoring them after losing. Fortunately, he certainly owes me nothing, as I am an entirely impartial judge. A kangaroo court? Certainly not—this is a leopard court.
Now, @Sir Yasheen , the floor is yours for the prosecution's opening statement.
I’m glad we’re all able to bear witness to what may be a historic trial in the making. Now this court has a history of fairness and civility that I hope carries into todays trial as I show the jury that the defendant @Rambles has flagrantly refused to pay up on a debt that now exceeds 4 years.
As we all know, Avatar bets are not mere trifles and hold a strong history in this community. And Rambles must be brought to Justice for the disrespect he’s shown towards the community through ignoring his debts. Never have we had an avi debt as severe as Rambles and if he refuses to pay it would permanently affect the way avatar bets are run in the future.
With that in mind I feel that the most severe punishment is the only one fitting of a criminal of such degree!
As I see it there is no evidence whatsoever brought forth in Mr. Yasheen's rather crude statement, the burden of proof lies with the accuser, and without irrefutable evidence, Rambles deserves the presumption of innocence
That was a rather brief opening statement from the defense. @Sir Yasheen, the prosecution may now respond and, if possible, address the claimed lack of evidence.
Hello Hello everyone! This is Rej from Anime Trial News, short "ATN".
Atm we're ATN, da-dada-bang, LET'S GOOOO!
As our partners in the journals have told, we are following the recent "Rambles Trial" in our lovely local court. We will deliver hot blogs and aim for the best interviews amongst the competition!
And as we can see here, the Judge Saber has already opened the trial, everyone is glued to their seats in anticipation of finding truth and justice on this day.
Will order in the court persist? We are here to find out!
Now that it is time for the Prosecution to make his case, I would like to enter the following quote into evidence. This is an itemized list of all bets made willingly and of sound mind by the defendant.
Behold the 4 years worth of debt that has gone unpaid.
It appears that the defenses entire case may rely on the fact that there is no proof that Egghead is not truly over. However, I raise you two points:
1. Not only is there proof that Egghead is over
2. The original bet made by the defendant did not even specify the end of Egghead as when he agreed to begin paying his debt.
Now the proof that Egghead is over resides in the naming of One Piece Chapter 1127:
Bailiff I enter the manga chapter title as evidence “Adventure in the Mysterious Kingdom”
Now there have been over 20 chapters named similarly. And each of them are used to trigger a new storyline in fact, to date there is only a single time one arc featured two of these chapters. That would be an island Luffy never even set foot on:
Chapter 701: "Adventure in the Country of Love, Passion, and Toys" (愛と情熱とオモチャの国の冒険, "Ai to Jōnetsu to Omocha no Kuni no Bōken")
Chapter 711: "Adventure in the Land of the Little People" (小人の国の冒険, "Kobito no Kuni no Bōken")
Now, the defense will need to prove that not only is Oda changing his basic narrative structure over 1100 chapters into the story but that this plot line on Elbaf must somehow circle back to the island of egghead which officially has been emptied of main characters.
As for point 2 I’d like to enter the following quote to evidence:
So, whoever wins can chose the profile-picture of the loser for one month. Like with Carrotfornakama, the bet ends as soon as Lucci is recruited or is going to fade into the background again for a longer time.
The stipulation the defendant himself set for his bet was for Lucci “to fade into the background again for a longer time.” Now, seeing as the current plot of the story involves the straw hats on an island that Lucci is not only away from but also has 0 desire to travel to means that Lucci has in fact faded into the background once again which means regardless of whether Egghead truly does return to the plot, Rambles MUST abide by his word and has since refused to by fraudulently trying to change the terms of a contract he not only agreed to but created!

Now, I would like to call a witness however it does not seem like any are currently available, so I will yield my time to hear the defenses rebuttal until our Witnesses may join us in court.
