Alright someone better than me tell me what’s going on.
Megumi stopped being a bum? Sukuna getting technique back? What’s the deal with the last finger?
I don’t really feel any suspense or tension, and it’s been a while now. Instead of wow, he might be done, it’s how will this barely affect him and go back to fighting again. Hope I’m wrong but it’s been a bit rinse and repeat for ages now.
Not to hijack the thread but can someone explain to me how Sukuna without Megumi beats Gojo? Does everyone assume he would figure dimensional slash eventually? My understanding of that fight isnt great.
Or maybe, just maybe, Zoro would interfere with Saturns hype Oda is trying to build by dominating the crew. And in all those other situations Zoro would have done exponentially better. You assuming he's not strong enough is your problem.
Why not have Sanji move a bit like Zoro breaking...
Honestly I feel a bit dead inside towards the series. a bit lame and dramatic I know. People talked about character assassination and it’s apt. Losing was always going to happen. The flashback felt so gross and just not G ojo. The whole thing felt so abrupt and insulting. Maybe I’m reading...
At best Zoro is beginning to use acoc, but even then, tendrils aren’t nearly as big as he was using before. Did Koby use acoc? Luffy in the kick against Kizaru?
The way this has been done honestly leaves me completely unsatisfied. The memes were fun but I thought Gojo would lose, even if the last chapter gave me a slither of hope.
My main issue is it feels like this all was pointless. We were shown that Sukuna needed to witness Maho cut Gojo despite...
Didnt realise how much I missed the trio until now, cackling through the first half. "Its like that, right?!" Opening theme threw me off for a couple of seconds but it was really good. And Shibuya here we come.
Honestly didn't love it, was serviceable but it just has no replayability for me. Such a hype moment and I don't feel it's been done justice, unfortunately.
Also, question: because of Gojos awakening in a sense, did he get faster/more perceptive too?
Honestly was expecting a bit more from Toji vs Gojo, hopefully, they can redeem it later.
Riko dying as the happy music stopped was done very well. I do love that ending song, had it on repeat since last week.
Weirdly I think I liked the first two episodes more somehow.
The thing is, how many times has Luffy beaten an opponent that at the end we're all like well if they were to fight right now he'd lose? Dofy, kata, now kaido. It's the same here with BM vs Kidd and Law. It's a terrible flaw Oda has where he hypes up a villain and then refuses to give legitimate...
Yeah that's definitely an issue, happens a lot in the one piece anime.
You know what I went back and watched the Yuji/Todo fight with Hanami and it wasn't bad at all, don't remember what I was so frustrated with. I think when I read manga I have the action of a fight in my head and when it...
In a way I get what you mean but I'm not too bothered by it, probably because this style works for me. As much as I enjoyed Yuji/Todo vs Tree guy I remember thinking the animation could've been so much better. I don't know much about animation so I can't speak too much on it but it felt so still...
Honestly loving everything about this, such a sucker for slice of life so the vibe works for me. I actually felt the last style was a bit too static in places but here it feels more fluid. Found myself rewinding parts just because it was so fun and clean. My hopes for the climax are very high now
It is a bit wild; as you say the only thing left that we haven't seen is his DE fully realized. Sakuna has shown us everything else. I can't think of anything left for Megumi. It's probably why we haven't seen Nobara in forever, there's just nothing left for her at this point either. It feels...
Good chapter, I think I'll continue to catch up every month or so.
Wonder what that angel thing will do with Megumi and looks Yuta is going on an absolute tear. Is it bad I wanted Megumi to kill that girl, he is a good guy after all I guess. I did expect Megumi to be a little bit stronger than...
Not including any Mihawk back story and just pure action, I feel like anything less than 5 does a massive disservice to the decades of hype and Zoros dream.
