Rules -
  • Do not, under any circumstances, reveal any information to any player regarding this game if you are no longer alive.
  • Do not quote Private Messages from me; paraphrase. And no, replacing second-person pronouns with first-person pronouns does not count as paraphrasing.
  • Do not edit your posts; double post if necessary. Failure to comply could result in a modkill.
  • Vote towards a lynch by typing Vote lynch <name>, where <name> is the name of the player you are voting for. You do not need to type Unvote, or [Change] alongside a newer vote. I will always accept votes even with a wrong format, however it is not my responsibility if I miss them by mistake. Failure to vote results in nothing but shame.
  • You must post at least 5 times per day phase. Failure to comply will result in a warning and a mod-block at the first offense. A second failure will result in a forced substitution or mod-kill. If you think you might not be able to meet the requirement at any given phase, let me know in advance and you will not be affected by the repercussions. Note that posts made for the sole purpose of meeting this requirement will not be considered.
  • If you believe that I have made a mistake, please address the issue with me via Private message. Save any other comments for after the game.

Game Mechanics

The game will feature three-phase, [Day Phase] and [Starry Night Phase]

Day Phase - 36/24 Hours
Starry Night Phase - 24 Hours

The game will start with Day Phase 1. Throughout this phase, the gentleman needs to ask a lady to the dance in the thread. Each lady can accept only one dance proposal. A Gentleman may make more than one proposal, but the first accepted will be the pairing. At the end of the Day phase, any player who doesn't have any dancing partner will be assigned at random.

After dance pairings have been formed, each pair can challenge another pair to a dance-off. Once that pair has accepted, then the dance-off between those two has been locked and cannot be changed. During the Night Phase, both players from each pair may submit their challenge for the other pair's R/P/S submission.

Dancing Mechanics

There will be rewards for winners and punishments for losers are determined by your level. An R/P/S system with the best of three scenarios will determine the winner of the match for closely-ranked Levels.

How The Dance Mechanic Trigger
During the Night Phase portion of the game, the players will use that window to submit their choices concerning their contest.

A player may choose to...
  1. I will accept the dancing challenge that occurs upon me.
  2. I will reject any dancing challenge that occurs upon me.
If you choose the first choice, then you have the option to challenge a pair of your choice to a challenge. Submit that challenge in this format: Challenging [Gentleman] and [Lady]. Players have an entire [Night Phase] to make their choice. If you do not make a choice, then the host will automatically choose the 2nd option for you. If you choose the 2nd option then you and your partner cannot be challenged.

What happens if more than one person challenges me?
In the event that this occurs, only the first player to challenge the pair will get the chance. The rest will be told that their submission was too late and can change targets. It is possible that you can have 2 challenges occur at once. Someone challenges you and you challenge someone else.

Please make sure that you submit your R/P/S choices for all 3 rounds right away in your PM with your partner.

Purpose of Pairing and Dancing?
These things will determine the ranking of best couples from Highest to lowest.

1. Each time player select their soulmate for the dancing partner they receive 1 point
2. If a dancing pair win against the other pair they receive 2 points each if they belong to different soulmates
3. If soulmates are dancing partners and win a challenge they will receive 3 points.

There are some hidden mechanics where these points will assign. These points will decide the best couple at the end of the game. Until then players may not bother themselves to worried about these things.
