When Law said that he was going to use his final attack, oda could have had Kid say "Me too" just like with the awakening chapter, but instead he made Kid ignore what Law said. Kid has been doing this a lot the entire arc, hiding everything he can do and what not. I still think there is a ways...
I really think we're getting the 1v1, there are too many loose ends right now and Kid has yet to be pushed beyond his breaking point. Besides as cool as a beam is, this chapter doesn't scream "fall of a yonko", I guess we'll find out soon anyway.
Assign S and N is one of the coolest abilities I ever seen in One Piece. I didn't think Oda was actually going to have characters do Naruto like abilities.
Shoutout to the goats Kid and Law, loved both their interactions this chapter.
The crazy part is even though not much is backing the Law matchup, there's a lot going for each of them in terms of themes and tone.
Luffy and Kaido is obvious. This entire arc has been about Luffy taking his next step to reach the top with the massive wall that is Kaido in front of him...
I still don't get how they don't understand that even if it doesn't make logical sense to them (Which is stupid because crushing via magnetism is broken but whatever), at the end of the day its ODA who wrote in that Kid's doing damage and its also ODA who gave Kid the finisher last chapter with...
People still don't understand this. Kid's awakening isn't to make metal attract to people, his awakening is to magnetize whatever he wants. In this case he "assigns" it to Big Mom, but there's nothing stopping him from assigning other things.
Wait some of you here are really okay with BM getting taken down in 1 chapter? Is this some kind of agenda or what because they're obvious gonna continue fighting in the future.
Either Kid tanks those attacks and proceeds to fight BM to show his resolve or Killer finds a way around the dolls (Maybe cutting around them?). I do think there is a small chance that Killer purposely loses to Hawkins and Kid finds out about his sacrifice after his fight but I think that's...
It's still crazy to me that Law and Kid with the help of Zoro and Killer nearly killed an emperor. Without Kaido, Big Mom would be dead right now. The boys have come so far.
I'm on the side where I think it'll turn into a 2v2 at the end (Luffy and Kid vs Big Mom and Kaido) however I would like...
Yeah I agree with this, however I do think Kid and Big Mom exchanged blows because you can see scratches on Big Mom's chin at a different place from before (If it turns out these aren't scratches I'll retract my statement). I get the notion that all they did was talk though, but my point is at...
