Game Style -
  • Traditional Setup - This game will prominently feature an uninformed majority against an informed minority.
  • Semi-Closed Setup - The list of characters potentially present in the game is public. However, no other information about the setup of this game will be revealed in the game thread until the game has ended.
  • Closed Communication - After reception of their role PM, players will not be allowed to discuss it outside of the game thread or during Night phases, except as specifically dictated in individual Role PMs.
  • Open Claiming - This game will feature restrictions on neither role claiming nor character claiming, except as specifically dictated in individual Role PMs. That being said, I heavily advise against it.
  • Day Start - This game will begin with a Day phase. Day 0 will last 48 hours, and will start upon reception of all pre-game actions and confirmations. The SoD/EoD deadline will be 3 p.m EST or 6 p.m EST.
  • Plurality Lynch - The player with the most votes at the end of the Day phase will get lynched. In the event of a tie, one of the tied players will get lynched at random. No-lynch is an option. In the latter stages of the game, a hammer option will be available to the players if accepted.
  • Quasi-Dusk - In this game, each Day phase will officially end as soon as the 48/24 hours deadline is reached. A Dusk phase will not be officially recognized, and players may continue discussing in the game thread until the next Night phase begins, however day actions and voting sent after the Day phase has ended but before the next Night phase has begun will be ignored. The first 3 players to post "Bondrewd is the best dad!" in their role PMs will receive a gift. Vote counts will be provided throughout each day as well as a final one once a day ends, however they may not reflect the actual vote value.
  • Phase Length - The game is divided into cycles. Each cycle consist of 2 phases, a day phase and a night phase. Each phase will last 24 hours, with the exception of the first 2 day phases. If you do not post or send an action within the time limit, we reserve the right to replace you.
Rules -
  • Do not, under any circumstances, reveal any information to any player regarding this game if you are no longer alive.
  • Do not quote Private Messages from us; paraphrase. And no, replacing second-person pronouns with first-person pronouns does not count as paraphrasing.
  • Do not edit your posts; double post if necessary. Failure to comply will results in severe punishment. If a player is abusing this rule, they will be mod-killed. Take this as your only warning.
  • Vote towards a lynch by typing Vote lynch <name>, where <name> is the name of the player you are voting for. You do not need to type Unvote, or [Change] alongside a newer vote. We will always accept votes even with a wrong format, however it is not our responsibility if we miss them by mistake. Failure to vote results in nothing but shame.
  • You must post at least 5 times per day phase. Failure to comply will result in a warning and a mod-block at the first offence. A second failure will result in a forced substitution or mod-kill. If you think you might not be able to meet the requirement at any given phase, let us know in advance and you will not be affected by the repercussions. Note that posts made for the sole purpose of meeting this requirement will not be considered.
  • If you believe that we have made a mistake, please address the issue with us via Private message. This goes for questions to the hosts as well, anything addressing the hosts should be sent through role PMs. Save any other comments for after the game.
Gameplay -
  • There are two level of kills present in this game - Regular and Super. Regular kills can be stopped by roleblocking the killer or protecting the victim. They consume one life from roles with multiple lives. Superkills bypass regular defenses, role-blocks and bonus lives.
  • There are two level of protections present in this game - Regular and Super. Regular protection will stop regular kills, while Super protection will stop regular kills and super kills, as well as downgrade the nature of a hostile attack (ex: Rolecrush becomes a Roleblock).
  • Most actions will receive write-ups, some will not. Attempted kills will always appear in the write-up, regardless of the reason of failure. Alignments colors will not be revealed in an action write-up.
  • Abilities with limited use are expended upon activation. For example, a one shot can not be used a second time even if the ability failed.
  • Actions are processed at the end of the night with priority given to certain abilities. During the day, actions are processed immediately using a time-stamp. They may not appear immediately in a public write-up as we prefer to wait for a bulk of actions for public write-ups.
  • Every role possesses at least one active ability per cycle. There is no limit on active abilities performed per role per phase, unless specified in your role PM. However, an ability (limited and unlimited use) can only be used once per cycle, unless specified otherwise.

Sabaody Archipelago, and the Weebs -

Coming from all corners of Weeb world, brave sailors have embarked on a journey to make a name for themselves and for the glory. After a long journey through what is known as Paradise, the surviving Weebs after going through many ordeals have finally reached the last Island before the [New World]. Only 50 Weebs remains who became famous throughout this journey because of their bold actions, having survived many ordeals They’ve been dubbed as the Worst Generation. The problem children. Some say that the prophesied [Weeb King], the one to lead them all, is among them...

While waiting for their ships to be coated, the 50 Weebs are currently all present on The Archipelago. A highly visited rest stop for all sorts of travelers to prepare before entering the New World, the Islands offers a lot of distractions and activities as a business booming hub.

Groves - How To Get Around

The Island is divided into groves, each being a tree and serving as a small island in their own right. Each day, you may send in your movement to a new grove, and the movement will take place at the end of the day. You will spend the remaining of that cycle in that location, and until you register another movement. IConnecting the Groves are bridges as seen in the map above, you may only move from one grove to another through them unless specified in your role PMs (example - A player in Grove 0 may move to G10 / G50 / G60 and G70). Each player may submit a movement per day unless specified in your role PM.

A Grove may contain items, special locations or nothing at all. Each start of a night, you will be informed of the options you have relating to your movement choice the previous day. You may choose to interact with the events in your Grove, pick up any item (if any) and/or visit a special location if there. In some special locations, if shared with another player, you will have a temporary chat with that player until one of you leaves.

Groves and Areas (an assemble of groves; see the colors on the map above) are linked to certain abilities, and those may affect them. However, there is no restriction relating to them when targeting another player unless specified in your role PM. That is, any player can target another player with an action regardless of both their locations.

Red Area - This is lawless area where pirates and bounty hunters run amok. When arriving at Sabaody, visitors are often advised to not go there. It has 3 Groves for the purpose of this game.
[Public Employment Security Office] - In Grove 0, you may have the opportunity to visit this special location. Currently closed, a public announcement will be made when an event will be taking place there.
Yellow Area - The commercial and touristic heart of Sabaody, this are is filled with shops, restaurants and even an attraction park.
[Disney Land] - After a series of abductions and extremely bad PR these past couple of years, the previous Sabaody Park had to declare bankruptcy. Very sad stuff, a family run local business closing its doors. It wasn't long however, before Disney entered town with plans with opening one of their world famous attraction park. Currently under construction, the Park opens its door on D3. Visitors of Grove 30 may spend their time there.
[Eiffel Tower] - Paris move aside, Sabaody has its own Iron Lady now. We hear the director of Eiffel Management Firm is holding a press conference at 6 p.m.
[Burger King] - Visitors to Grove 50 can grab a bit here. Having recently set up shop, we hear their Whooper is as good as ever...
Green Area - A hotel, and local headquarters to the [Marines] are located here...

Berrys - The Value of Money -

The game will feature a currency system relating to the above mechanics and roles. Each player will start N1 with a sum of Berrys that they have earned during their journey through the first half the Grand Line. They may continue earning Berrys via their game activity interacting with the Sabaody environment, and their fellow players. Some roles have abilities revolving around coins, and as such may have started with a some of money not related to their journey. As the esteemed philosopher Omar Little once said "Money doesn't have owners, just spenders".

There is no public 'Shop System' featured, instead the money can be used during their visits to Groves and the special locations which works on case by case basis and is specific to each locations. An example would be the [Public Employment Security Office] which hosts special auctions, where players may purchase things.

[Bounties] - A bounty has been issued on each player in the game based on their journey in the first half of the Grand Lines. Bounties may increase throughout the game. If a player is killed, their killer may claim the bounty and earn its reward. If a player is lynched, the reward is divided among the players that participated in their lynch, plus one. The person starting the lynch gets that extra share. Some rewards are alive only...

The Weeb Elders -

The Weebs knew that conflicts were certain to arise with all of them competing for the same goal. Taking to heart the words of their fallen hero and to prevent the repeat of the chaotic events of the previous Weeb Wars they've heard so much about, they've decided to join hands and create an alliance that will take care of disputes between them and make sure that peace is respected. They've created a small council whose goal is to lead the alliance.

During Day 1, each player must vote for a player they want to be represented by on the council. The 8 players with the most votes will seat on this new Council. Votes must submitted privately through role PMs, they may be discussed in the thread without any restrictions. Their influence over the Weeb affairs is paramount and limitless, ranging from judiciary action to public health...

[Council Meeting] - On odd nights, the 8 Elders will convene in the game thread. They may post at night and vote, the player with the most votes at night will be lynched by them. As the game progress, the frequency of their meeting may increase.
[Weeb Health Organization] - ...[Secrets]

The Great Age of Weebs

Decimated after the events of The Weeb Wars, all the weeb communities across the corners of the Weeb world were still trying to live on the best they could. It was certainly not easy. They had lost so much in such a short time. It wasn't long ago when they were all living a peaceful life, enjoying weeboo things, watching their favorite anime and reading their favorite manga. Arguing about their favorites waifus and power levels. That all came to an end...

In a single night, over half the Weebs were gone. In a single night, they had lost everything. They had to fight their brothers and sisters, that came back from the dead in the blackest night. It came to be called, The Weeb Night as time passed on. Records of that night are still kept secret to this day, and the legendary hero that led them through it has recently passed. Not before shocking the world once more. A legendary Weeb warrior, George Costanza had attained more wealth, power, and fame than anyone could imagine. Legend says that he led a small coalition to victory against their enemies, after the failure of the Weeb King at the time. A brave warrior, rumors said that he was immortal after making a contract with a Dragon God that he rode to battle wreaking havoc on his enemies. Those were just rumors, father time has been proven once again to be undefeated.

It was a beautiful day. Weebs from all over had made their way to the event. Everyone had heard about the deteriorating health of their Hero, he knew his time was coming to end and summoned all the weebs to give his last words. Having experienced the atrocities of Wars, he certainly hadn't forgetten. He didn't want a repeat of those events, knowing that those with blackened hearts were waiting in the shadows for his demise, seeking to rule over the ashes of his kingdom…

With loud speakers located all around the kingdom, George's voice started to make its way to his people at around noon. He had planned on making an appearance in the public square and giving a public speech but unfortunately his condition was too severe. His time was up and with the last moment of his life, he turned his fading "flame of life" into a huge fire that enveloped the world - "My treasure? If you want it, I'll grant it! Search on! All the world had to offer, I left in that place!" he said as he breathed his last breath. At that moment, The Greatest Weeb of them all died...

Complete silence..you could have heard a pin drop anywhere in the Weeb World at that time. No weeb has laughed more than on that day. No weeb had cried more than on that day. No weeb never drank more either. George was a magnificent man, and with those last words he ignited the excitement of the world, and thus began "The Great Age of Weebs". The Age of Dreams...

George Costanza [???] has died.

"I'm disturbed, I'm depressed, I'm inadequate - I've got it all!"
You are George Costanza!

[Passive - Master of His Domain] - George is the Godfather of [???] Mafia. He is immune to Roles-Crushes and most debuffs. He appears as Town.

[Passive - New York's Four] - At the start of the game, George may select 3 players and respectively assign to them the role of his friends: Jerry, Kramer and Elaine. They will each receive a slight buff to their role. George is immune to the votes and actions performed by his friends.
--- [Independent George] - World's may not collide, otherwise that's the end of George. Members of his Mafia may not target one of George's friends while he is still alive. Actions performed by his friends on [???] members have a 20% chance of failing.

[Passive - Art Vandelay] - This is just a game. Just like his alias, all the other characters are fictional and everyone is leading a life in their dreams. They can't harm him. He is super-bulletproof.

[Passive - My Boys Can Swim] - If he performs the faction kill, it is upgraded to a super-kill. He may not use it on 2 consecutive nights, his boys need rest.

[Passive - Jerk Store Called] - George doesn't take shit from anybody. He must always respond in the same fashion that he is attacked, and have the last word. As long as he complies, his vote will count double against someone he just won an argument against. If he fails to respond to in-thread attack, he will be too busy thinking about a way to come back at them the following night to perform an action.

[Passive - The Abstinence] - When George is no longer preoccupied with sex, he is able to focus all his mind. He becomes much sharper, and it gradually increases. Every phase he doesn't receives a vote in (nor is he targeted in *night phase*), George unlocks new parts of his brain. After the first phase, his actions becomes immune to any kind of manipulation. After a second phase, he will learn the identity of everyone that visits him. After a third phase, he will learn the role name of everyone he visits.

[Activated Passive - The Summer of George] - At any time during the game, George may declare the 2 next cycles a [Summer of George]. He'll put a stop at everything he was doing, and start learning what he always wanted. During the Summer of George, he is immune to all actions targeting him and he will gain a one-shot version of every ability that targets him. [1-shot]

[Active - Architect] - Each phase, George may post a write-up through the host. He isn't a real Architect, and the write-up isn't real.

[Active - Import/Export] - One of George's many profession is that of an Importer/Exporter. Each cycle, George may target a player and import their role. He will learn their full role. Upon a second importation, he may use his target's role during that cycle. Anytime, he targets a player for the second time, he will export his voting power and they will gain it during that phase.

[Active - Believe It, Or Not] - Ghosts are real. At night, George may target the role of a dead member of his team and use their abilities without any restrictions. He can perform the factional kill with their body and modify it with any passive ability they may have. He may only use this ability if two members of his faction have died.
---- [The Greatest American Hero] - If he's the last member of his team alive, George may fabricate a one-shot ability to use, under the super-vision of the host. That night, he may use up to 3 dead members of his faction. [1-shot]

[Active - It's not a lie, if you believe it] - George believes everything he says. He is immune to lie-detection. Once during the game, he may disable investigative effects for a phase. Everyone will believe, what they're saying. [1-shot]

[Active - Pilot] - Once during the game, George may pitch a [Pilot] to the host and ask for volunteer actors in the thread via a subsequent write-up. The Pilot requires 5 volunteers. If he gets them, it is a go. As the writer, he will control the actions of the 5 actors during the shooting and have them follow his script. [1-shot]
